How is wallpaper measured and sized?
The first dimension is the width, the second is the height. Your wallpaper arrives as several strips, each around 50cm wide, that line up to form the full design. For example, a 400×280cm order comes as eight 50×280cm strips. Always measure your wall before ordering.
How much wallpaper do I need for my wall?
Measure the full width and height of your wall in centimetres, then choose the closest size up so the design covers the whole area with a little to trim. It's safer to order slightly more than to fall short — any excess is neatly cut away once hung.
Can wallpaper be removed without damaging the wall?
Yes. Our non-woven wallpaper is designed to peel away cleanly in one piece when you're ready to redecorate, leaving the wall intact underneath. Soften any stubborn areas with warm water, then wipe off residue with a damp sponge and let the wall dry.
Is your wallpaper suitable for bathrooms and kitchens?
Our wallpaper is durable and wipeable, making it well suited to kitchens and other busy rooms. It can also be used in bathrooms provided the space is well ventilated. We'd recommend avoiding areas in constant direct contact with water, such as inside a shower enclosure.
Can I hang wallpaper in a rented home?
Wallpaper is a popular way to personalise a rented space. It applies securely and can be removed when you move out by gently peeling it away and cleaning off any residue. If you're renting, it's always worth checking your tenancy agreement before you decorate.
Will the wallpaper pattern match up between strips?
Yes. Our designs are made so that each strip aligns with the next to form a continuous pattern. Because you apply the paste to the wall, you have time to slide each strip into position and match the pattern precisely before it sets.
How long does it take to receive my wallpaper?
Once you order, you'll receive email updates as your wallpaper is produced and dispatched, since each design is made to order.
What surfaces can I apply wallpaper to?
Wallpaper works best on smooth, clean, dry walls. It can cover minor imperfections, but heavily textured surfaces such as woodchip or rough plaster should be smoothed first, as pronounced texture can show through. Painted and previously papered walls are usually fine once clean and sound.
